Transfering to Nexus 7 using usb cable.
« on: August 23, 2013, 11:42:09 AM »
This is not a problem I have. A friend recently bought a Nexus 7 2. He attaches it to his PC. The Nexus shows up. When he clicks and opens in windows this is fine. He can't transfer anything to the Nexus. Pictures, music or films. I don't have this problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Android now uses MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) to transfer files from the PC to the Android device. Note that MTP requires Windows Media Player, so check to see if they have it installed on their PC.
