Haven't found one yet. The energiser wiimote charger doesn't work. Fry's and microcenter are clueless.
How do you say qi? Xhzi? Chi?

I use an LG WCP-300 for my Nexus 4 and it works great on the Nexus 7 although it's very small and take some balancing.
Energizer do a nice Qi charger and then there the Oimini from here.

Matt, I think it's pronounced "Key"...

Why would anyone use a Wireless Charger?
« Reply #6 on: September 09, 2013, 08:44:42 AM »
Serious question (not an opinion).  I'd really like to know.

Wireless charger takes longer to charge, extra cost accessory, generally unavailable right now - requires an ad hoc solution.

(IMHO the $$ Google spent on this feature would have been much better spent on a micro-card reader.)

Cost has nothing to do with why Google won't include expandable storage. This had been discussed many times on the forums...

JayJ - just an opinion re: card reader.  I'm more interesting in learning why folks find "wireless charging" interesting, appealing.

Yeah sure and your perfectly entitled to an opinion, I was merely stating that it's highly unlikely...

As for wireless charging, it's great! I have a Qi charger on my bedside unit and another in my living room, I go to bed and just put my phone down and it's charging. No plugging in or unplugging. The fact that this is a standard and more devices are coming out is another plus, as I've said I've already got Qi chargers because I own a Nexus 4 so having the Nexus 7 Qi compatible is great.

I think asking why people would prefer wireless to wired is kind of asking black and white or color.

I just picked up the Panasonic QE-TM101 for mine. It's pretty cool, a space-age charger heh. It has sensors all over the pad, put the device on the pad and the sensors find where the induction receiver is, and automatically moves the transmitter over to it. So I never need to worry about lining it up.

Problem is that it doesn't have a trickle charge, but on the N7, I don't really care, because I don't need to leave it on all night like a phone.

It's on the slow boat from Japan right now, but I will report in on how it works when it gets here.

After watching a bunch of videos, I believe it's pronounced "Chee".

I read that any charger that works on the N4 will work on the N7.

I just got my Panasonic QE-TM101 in the mail from Japan today. Just plugged it in. I'm using an AsuxTek case (from amazon) on my Nexus 7, and the charger picked up the tablet with no problem.

The charger came with a little plastic shield or something, one of the instructions say to place the sheild on top of the sensor pad (or that's what the picture shows), if I do that then the coils do not sense my tablet.

It seems to charge pretty slowly with the case on.

Overall though, I think this will work pretty well on my night stand to charge my tablet over night. And it's super cool, it's got blue LEDs and the inductive coil moves to my tablet, like a robot. It's not very loud, and it looks pretty slick.

Sounds great Ivan. I considered that Qi charger when looking for my Nexus 4, watched several videos on You Tube but deemed it a little too big for a phone. Sounds like it's perfect for the Nexus 7 though.
