Help getting started

I connected easily to google and then my own virgin email. But there was a problem and after taking it back to John Lewis, they set it back to factory settings. They connect to JL wifi in store but since then every time I try to connect to google it says googles is not available at the moment. This has been going on for hours and I can connect via my computer. Do I need to return it again?

With the minimal information that we have and with no knowledge of why you returned it initially, first verify that you are connected to your home WiFi source by selecting "Settings" and tapping WiFi. If you are connected to your WiFi, then try to browse the internet with Chrome. Failing on connecting to your WiFi or the internet, would warrant a return to the retailer for verification of internet and Google account access.
