Nexus 7 tablet book download problem

Suddenly I've started getting this error message whenever I try to download a book or book sample that says:  cannot display book.  Help!!!

You will have to redownload them on your device, as this is a problem after the 4.3 update.
In your library tap the three dots besides the title and tap "delete from device" and then tap "keep on device"
