Transferring movie and book files from laptop
« on: December 25, 2013, 04:55:56 AM »
I have tried dragging movies, by usb connection, to the movies folder in the Nexus and they show as downloaded but when opening up the movie file it shows empty.   Cannot find anywhere to transfer books to either as get the impression Google just want you to buy theirs only.

Can someone please advise me how to transfer them.  On my galaxy, toshiba and Motorola tablets never had this issue

What app are you trying to use to open the media files?  If you don't have the right video player it's not going to work.  Also, have you looked in our audio/video board?  There's tone of info there that might help you figure out what the issue is.  http://nexus7forum.com/nexus-7-audiovideo/
