Printing Apps
« on: December 26, 2013, 08:24:59 PM »
I just got a new Android tablet for the holidays.  I'm beginning to set it up and install apps.  I'm looking for a good app for printing.  I have a Brother printer.  It doesn't have it's own WiFi but it's connected via both Ethernet and USB to the home wired/wireless network.  Are there any good apps that I can install on my Nexus 7 so that I can begin using it to print?  I'd like to be able to print things such as websites I'm visiting, emails, pdf's, documents on QuickOffice, etc.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I use Printer Share (link below). It supports Wi-Fi, USB by OTG cable, Google Cloud print, and client print with host software installed on pc. There is a free version for testing, as there are incompatibilities with some printers. Notably the pro version is 50% off right now. A Wi-Fi printer is the easiest solution, but the others will work, they just require some additional work on your part.
