Came originally from an iPad, now loving the Nexus 7 experience better.

     I have been a primary user of the iPad since it first came out (I have owned every generation full size iPad and iPad mini to date).  However, been really starting to like the Kitkat experience on my Nexus 7 much better as of late.  For me the small size and great resolution is just so convenient to carry around.  I was wondering what other members think of the Nexus 7 as compared to the iPad or other android tablets.

Ed, you will find some solid supporters of the Nexus 7 in our forum, most of whom have owned other tablets. In IT, I find myself often dealing with iPads for clients and friends and honestly prefer the vanilla Android experience on our Nexus 7. Although, I must admit that the iPad is a solid built device that holds superiority in numbers in the business world, mainly through name recognition. From my experience, when asked by a friend or client, for a tablet recommendation, I ask about their smart phone and suggest a tablet with the same OS. I am just saying, that, from what I have seen, the new tablet adopter is happier with the same OS as their phone. It is refreshing to see a former iPad owner, to be open minded enough to recognize the benefits of Android on the Nexus 7. I hope you continue to enjoy it.
