Yes, but you will probably lose root, although it will be easy enough to root again. Once 5.0 starts dropping we will have plenty of information on the best upgrade path for the rooted user.

I have read that WugFresh is already supporting 5.0 and is in the process of updating his root toolkit. So I would anticipate it being ready by the time we see 5.0

I used Wugs Nexus tool kit and 5.0 went in smoothly

I am assuming that you used the toolkit to load a factory image of 5.0 and then rooted it, as I have not heard of anyone getting the OTA yet.
