Choices For Getting Video Onto 1st Generation Nexus 7
« on: January 27, 2015, 09:49:10 PM »
My family and  I will be going on a vacation in March.  I want to download some movies and other videos onto my Nexus 7 for viewing when I don't have access to wifi.  What are currently some of my best choices?  Somewhere I read that it might be possible to save some content from Netflix and transfer it to my Nexus 7.  Where do I start to learn about that?  Also, my Nexus 7 is not rooted and I just upgraded to the most current Android OS.

You can transfer video to flash drives and with an OTG cable, connect to your tablet then use Nexus Media Importer.

If your tablet is rooted, StickMount from the Play Store and and external USB source connected by an OTG cable will work.

I used to use StickMount, but found issues, so I still use NMI on my rooted devices.
