Many of you might have noticed that over the last few days the Nexus7Forum.com site has looked a bit different. This is because we've been testing a mobile-responsive theme. Google this past year made it known that search results would be adversely affected if a site does not offer certain mobile friendly features and thus in order to keep up with the times we've had to change things around a bit here on the forum in order to make sure our site is optimized a bit for mobile search results.
What this means is that when you pull up Nexus7Forum.com on a mobile phone you'll notice that site appears as one long stream instead of the usual portal page with various columns. All of the content on the site has remained the same...all of the posts, articles and comments you've come to expect are all here. We have been forced to alter the setup of our site however even on desktop for right now due to requirements of the mobile responsive theme.
We will be upgrading the site in the near future to a more comprehensive system that allows for separate desktop and mobile setups but until that upgrade is ready we'd like to hear your comments about how the site is setup as is. Please let us know if this new mobile-responsive theme makes it easier for you to use our site on your mobile device...or if you liked it the way it was before. We're open to making whatever changes will make the site best for our users so please speak up and let us know so we can take your comments into consideration!
Thanks!
