Web Video becomes unresponsive
« on: August 12, 2012, 06:37:36 PM »
When using the Nexus 7 to stream web video in Chrome, the video controls almost always become unresponsive after 15-20 seconds of video.  By this I mean that when I use Chrome to watch streaming video, the play/pause, fast forward and rewind buttons stop responding.  I can tap them, and it registers my touch, but the video does not respond.  The scroll bar that allows you to pick a spot in the video also stops responding.  I can move it around all I want, but the video will not move to the part I select.

This is only in HTML5 video in web browsers (I experienced it in Firefox and Dolphin as well).  YouTube (the app) works perfectly with no such issues.

Does anyone else have this issue?  Is there a fix or workaround?  Thanks!
