Google Releases 'Nexus 7: Curious' Ad
« on: August 29, 2012, 07:41:16 PM »

In the second in what is becoming a series of heartwarming advertisements for Google's new 7 inch tablet the company has just released 'Nexus 7: Curious'.  In the ad we follow a cute little girl as she uses her new Nexus 7 tablet to draw, read 'Curious George', video chat with her grandmother, pretend to be flying in a rocket ship and ask Google's 'Voice Search' how far earth is to the moon to which she gets a quick reply.   The commercial ends with the Google Play tag line 'The Playground Is Open' as our little starlet runs outside pretending to be an astronaut.  It seems Google is really trying to personalize the Nexus 7 by showing how it can be a great conduit to creating connectivity and creativity in every day life.  We think it does a pretty good job.   What do you think of the new ad and how do you think it compares to the first?

I think it's sweet.

My only problem is with some of the comments on both this and the other commercial.
