Nexus 7 32GB Spied In Carphone Warehouse Inventory Shot?

If there's one complaint we've heard from some users over the Nexus 7 that they'd like to see remedied in a future update to the tablet its that there's no model available with more than 16GB of internal memory.   While there are certainly workarounds that permit you to get apps, media and information on and off the N7 the simplest solution for most would simply to offer a model with more ram, ie. 32GB or more.   

Well if a snapshot of the inventory screen at Carphone Warehouse UK in the above leaked photo is to be believed a 32GB version of the Nexus 7 might be right around the corner.   Now there's no confirmation of this from the company and it's not that uncommon for companies to put placeholder sku's in their systems for possible future products so this could be much ado about nothing.  On the otherhand, the same source that provided this photo was apparently right on some previous predictions so it gives us hope.

What if they dropped the price of the 8GB model to say...$149, the 16GB to $199 and the 32GB came in at $249.   That would make sense now that they're competing against the Kindle Fire HD and the reported iPad Mini coming in few weeks.   Should be an interesting Christmas season...

Hopefully competition will bring us a provision for expandable memory. I hate my 16gb ceiling.

I've been thinking that it won't be very long before we see some very good prices on manufacturer refurbished N7s.

I think that Google intentionally starved us for storage space! The launch of the Nexus 7 came right after the transition over to Play.  Google intentionally doesn't want us to have to store our media on our device.  The available app storage is another thing entirely.  Many of the games inteded for use with the Tegra 3 are larger than 1Gb. So that 8Gb storage, formatted and 4.1.1 installed, leave room for only two or three games. Thats a bummer!  I think Google must have something up their sleeve.
