Nexus 7 and Miracast / Wireless Display (widi) ?

Hi all,

I could not find the answer to my question anywhere so I hope to find it here :).

Basically I am wondering if the Android Nexus 7 supports Nvidia Miracast to mirror the content of the tablet desktop to a TV receiver. Nvidia Tegra is supposed to support this, though it does not mean necessarily Android and Nexus 7 provides the option.

If yes, is this supported by default, any additional software required ? Which display receiver do you use?

If not is this expected to be supported soon ?
