How to play WMV DRM movies

I love my Nexus7, BUT, I thought I would be able to transfer my digital download movies (like Up and Toy Story 3) to the tablet for my grandkids to watch.  I was wrong.  I have now discovered that Nexus7 will not play these movies unless they are converted to mp4 and DRM is removed.  I have found two paid PC programs (Aimersoft DRM Media Converter & iSkysoft DRM Removal) that will remove the DRM and convert to mp4 and will allow playing the movies.  This is a long tedious process and I have a lot of digital movies I want to transfer.  Does anyone have any better suggestions?  Is there and app that will allow me to play the original files or convert them for me?  It there any free PC software that will do the job?

There are free apps that will play these formats.

Bob is right. I don't think you have to change the file. Try some of the free apps that are available in the Google play store.

If the movies are DRM protected no player from GP will help, as the OP stated DRM protection will need removing...

If you are interested, there is a whole world of all FREE DVD copying software out there.  The more you know, the better the result.  Some that I have used:

StaxMedia | Free Audio & Video software downloads at SourceForge.net   ------> bundle separated vid files together, multipass compress into a desired destination SIZE and file type (avi, etc) - BIG size reductions w reasonable quality

I don't know much about this subject. I searched a little and found some apps saying they could play the files. I left my Apple core next to my over priced  piece of crap laptop that broke.

Those movies are DRM-protected, and only with apps similar as to ones that you mentioned can you "convert" them. They basically use your computer to play the file, and record it at the same time, which is why it takes so long.

Converting the DVD they came with is easier and faster.
