The Nexus 7 has found itself to be a rather useful device for millions of owners but this is the first we've heard of Google's star 7 inch tablet being used as part of an art exhibity.  Miami's 'Art Basel' is using 100 of the devices as part of an art work called CNNCTD+ whicho showcases 100 works from  New York artists that are on display.  Each piece of art uses visuals and audio to create a unique statement about the city that never sleeps.  Such artists as Yoko Ono, Spike Lee, Paz De Le Huerta and Pharrell Williams are all featured.  The Nexus 7's are actually essential for the exhibit as a custom piece of software on the tablets shows visuals and plays audio at the touch of a button to attendees.  It's nice to see the Nexus 7 being used in such a unique way and it's just more evidence how mainstream Google's 7 incher is becoming out in the world.

Very cool. It is amazing to me how technology and art are moving together full speed ahead.
