Old buck here, midnight hacker in 1960. Was away from computers between 1962 and 1981.
Friend said that the Nexus is the best for the money, and I'm still amazed by how much one gets, as well as build quality. Compass Mode in Street View was almost mind-blowing, and I almost never use that term.

Yrs trly is a retired electronic tech whose mind is as active as ever, almost self-propelled; sometimes need a cane. Wikipedia editor, amateur photographer; currently, Coolpix L610, which i like a lot. Lapsed amateur musician, duct flutes (recorder, whistle, etc.) Was a country and contra dancer.
