email backlog
« on: July 16, 2013, 01:50:26 PM »
Hi, this might not be Nexus related but it only happens on my Nexus so any advice would be appreciated. My email account which is several years old, is receiving all my old emails, so far going back as far as January this year but will go further I'm sure. There have been hundreds and if it continues there will be thousands. Have I got some settings wrong? Help please!!!!! ::)

You have not started if you are using a pop or imap email account, but my guess is that you have been checking your email on a computer and your email client is set to leave your email on the mail server, so it has never been removed from the email server. You will need to change the setting on your computer.

Thanks S.Prime, I'll check that out, and hopefully get it sorted.
