How do I save a Chrome Bookmark to the desktop?

Just press the star in the upper right corner when you're on the page you want to save.  You'll notice the bottom of your home page has three different categories.  Press bookmark and you should see your new bookmark.

What do you mean? That doesn't work. I don't see any bookmark category.

Man, too bad the Android OS isn't nearly as good as the Asus hardware. I've had an Android 2.2phone And it's decent - of course it has swype' which almost makes a virtual keyboard usable. But without that, using this device I an ordeal. Voice control is a long way from usable - hands free is impossible. I feel like a chump.
