Same here on the date... they were demoing the Glass Project when I ordered. My card has not been charged yet.

So will the FCC file charges against GameStop?  Why is the FCC delaying the release? Is apple or amazon involved?

Looks isolated, the Nexus 7 was FCC cleared back in May as the 370t, no?

Besides, it is shipping everywhere else.

(Ordered 6/27 at 12:20 pm, still no charge). Not worried, just providing stats!

I just saw Google debited my account, but no word from them via email nor any changes to the receipt in Google Wallet.  Maybe soon.

Same here; I just noticed a charge on my credit card. Oddly, I have two charges; one from "Google Devices" for the total amount (233.49), and another one from "Google" for $1.00. No update in the google wallet status. I ordered mine on July 11th.

Just got my UPS Shipment mail (NJ, USA)

My pre-order with Google wallet says July 13 now, but still no charge or email....so I called Google, held for 27 minutes and was told my card had been charged and they were notifying people about shipment in "huge" batches of email.  Stated that  they are still shipping orders for another 1 1/2 hours and could easily go out tonight without an email until Monday.  Should have it by Tuesday.

As a sidenote, I did mention that I was kind of unhappy that I had ordered it on the 27th and people who ordered later were taking their 7's out for a date this weekend.  He said the advantage of ordering through them was service.  That if I received a 7 that was dinged or missing a pixel, etc.  they would send out a replacement in advance whereas a retailer would not have it in stock and I would have to wait a month after returning it.  So, a bit of an appeasement speech there.  Probably sick of the complaints.

Got mine from Gamestop after work (NYC by Penn Station). The cute girl behind the counter was more excited for me than I was lol. So I've played with my Nexus 7 for a bit, and I really can't believe how blazing fast it is (esecially compared to my Kindle Fire). Games download super fast. Dead Trigger looks sick, like an Xbox 360 game. And books and the Transformers movie look amazing on the great Nexus 7 screen. BTW, no headphones included.

Maybe instead of "sick of" I should have said "needed a remedy for" the complaints.  If I get mine Tuesday, it will still be on time (just barely).

Glad you got yours Scott, just in time for your trip....sounds like a fun tablet and worth the wait!

I got my confirmation from Google this evening, but it sounds like the tracking number was created by Google but the N7 hasn't mailed yet since there's no delivery date.  So probably Monday or tuesday for me.
