OTG rightangle cables caveat

I bought a right angle OTG cable the other day via Amazon (Thus one http://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B007MOD0KE/ref=fb_lfb_prodpg_1 - though there are many similar around). It works perfectly well but in landscape mode, with the buttons on the top and usb socket on the right (the ideal orientation - indeed the only orientation for Angry Birds!), it points upwards rather than downwards. I guess this is because the Nexus socket is the 'other way up' in comparison to similar devices that use micro usb

I wondered about that when I ordered my OTG cord, guess I'll see which way it points when it shows up!

Oh, you bought the Italian version...  theres your problem!

Well I am living in Italy at present. I notice, however, that on Amazon.co.uk there are versions that point the other way. But they charge me 3x the price of the adaptor to post them to Italy, so maybe I will wait until I am next in the UK
