Now, this looks very cool. Meaning, it looks like one can just lay the unit in the holder and have it charge w/o having to plug the micro usb in.
Only down sides I see are it does not look like it works with a case on? And for reading books, not ideal either. But, where do I buy one. 5
Nexus 7 Accessories / Case and dock charger?« on: November 22, 2012, 11:04:10 AM »
So, need to get a case for the N7. But, I also want to get a dock charger. So are there any charges that work with a case on? I really like this charger but seems it would not work with a case. http://www.amazon.com/RND-Power-Solutions-Desktop-Docking/dp/B008NP7R7S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1352085449&sr=8-3&keywords=nexus+7+charging+dock
Would also be nice to get a dock charger that works landscape also. 6

Nexus 7 Root, Hacks, Mods And Development / Re: 32Gb N7 how to Root easily?« on: November 07, 2012, 06:20:30 AM »
I rooted a 16 gig with 1.5.4 no issues. When I upgraded to 1.5.5, it did not work when I tried on another unit. After many tries, went back to 1.5.4 and it worked.
So, clearly seems there is some bug in 1.5.5 Now, if anyone got 1.5.5 to work, sure would love to know how. 1.5.5 did not load SU or busybox. 9

All 3 versions of the Nexus 7 all have the same free Wi-fi. So whether at your home, star bucks, airport, etc, it is free.
The HPSA+ phone allows one to put a SIM into the tablet to use cell service for data, but this is NOT free!! So is it worth spending another 50 bucks and then having to spend around another 30 bucks per month for the data? If I am on the road, I would just find a free star bucks to drive to and use the wi fi. I am still trying to decide if the 50 bucks is worth it to go from 16 to 32 gig when I play no have no video on the unit and nothing else I can think of takes that much space. (Or am I missing something?) 13

But wifi is already included in the base unit so what does your comment about adding 3g and wifi mean?

Trying to decide if the extra money is worth it for the 32 gig. Now, if one is not watching movies, is there any other reason to get the larger memory?

I just purchased a nexus 7 yesterday at target, 16 gig for 249. They would not answer if they had the 32 yet. I bought knowing I would return, just wanted to see how it works. will return and get the Ipad mini next week and see how it works. Now, if they offer some 8gig for 99, would be hard to pass up..
