Sounds like we have the same OCD JJ.
Sweet! I am glad to be able to help. I have multiple Gmail accounts so I had to play around to find the movie. It is under the one I originally registered with but not the one my play store card is connected too.

Yes I also don't like files that don't need to be there but I can't just go deleting files at random. A factory reset can also be too time consuming.

Nexus 7 Help / Re: Music Issue / Third party software can't find my music?

Hi, I downloaded the Astro app and was very impressed with what it can do. I managed to find and copy and paste my all my music files into my music folder which was empty. Now my media streaming app can see all my music. Thanks a lot for your feedback.

Now I am going to see if I can get that Transformer film from Google to show up in my media streaming software. That would be so cool if I could make that happen.

Sounds like all your music is loaded onto Google play and is on the server or or your computer. Did you move any music to the nexus since you have bought via the cable or by download?

Yes I have loaded music files through download and bluetooth but I need the files just to go straight into my music folder by default. I think it could be a Jelly Bean issue because I don't have this issue on my smartphone.

Nexus 7 General Discussion / Re: display question

Hi,

I too have a vertical line flash that happens occasionally while surfing. It doesn't bother me that much so I doubt I will be returning it for a replacement and because I am on my second Nexus after having a pixel issue and fear that another replacement could give me another issue that could be worse.

Nexus 7 Help / Solved/ Third party software can't find my music?
« on: September 15, 2012, 01:25:40 PM »
Hi,

My third party network streaming software can't locate my music files. My music files appear to be located in the android music player software. I am unable to find the location as to where these's files are stored. Please can somebody tell me the files location and a way to put these files into my empty music folder. Hopefully then my 3rd party software will find my music. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,

I have a not very nice black dotted line that runs across the full length of my Nexus 7 screen about half inch in. It's not that bad because it's only half inch in from the edge of screen but it clearly shouldn't be there. I'm therefore going to return it for a replacement. I would urge people buying from a high street store to turn on and check there product while in store as I have heard of other people having screen issues and it would be worth checking your tablet out or you might find yourself returning to the store for a replacement.

Updated.
Hi guys, I had pixel failure on my screen so I took my Nexus 7 back to the store for an exchange with no problems. I ask to turn on my replacement Nexus to check for any obvious screen issues and I found no problems:-). I found out at the store that Google have no warranty terms apart from the standard one year so it will be a straight exchange for a replacement Nexus 7 within one year after purchase.

You are all welcome to add to my post if you have had any screen issues like myself.
