UPDATE! Problem solved. I called Google Play Support on Sunday Morning at 9:45, it was answered by an American call center, and he walked me through the simple fix. It seems that I had let the battery completely discharge and the unit went into DEEP SLEEP. I plugged in the power adapter and held the power button in for about 25 seconds and it cane back to life.

I have several apps on my Zoom (JB 4.1.1) that say they are not compatible with my device when I try to install them, Delta Airlines and American Express. Also, there are severalapps, i.e. Nook Reader, that give the "app has stopped working" message when using them. Any ideas?
