I am still not able to use Google Maps away from wifi. At home, I typed in "OK Maps" in an attempt to download local maps but it still doesn't work.
I wonder how can I download California Maps on to the device. For a device without manual, Google has certainly make it extremely user unfriendly.

Can we download the manual from some where to learn basic operations? Do they expect first time users to magically know how to use Android OS?

I expected to be able to use google maps but when I tried it, it didn't work. I thought the new N7 is connected to GPS. Does it work as a GPS device, do I need to download something?

Did you see my post about the $.99 case from Amazon? They stated that the case would be in stock on August 12, so about two weeks from now. I guess right now they are scrambling in China to make the new cases. I think they will only make minor adjustments to the original case as the new tablet is longer and narrower. The reviews for the Original Case from this same manufacturer is over 4.5 stars with over 1000 ratings.

I have some "sensitive" MP3 files that I am listening to right now and they are displayed in large images clearly on the home page for everyone to see. I prefer other people not to see this. How do I do it?

They have lowered the price to $.01, Damn. Apparently it is not a mistake. If it is as nice as the case for the original Nexus 7 then this is a steal.
update: They brought the price back to $.99 a few hours later.

Just ordered 2 cases from Amazon. When ordered 2, shipping is only $7. Same maker is selling similar case but for older nexus 7 for $15 and has very good rating. I ordered a new Nexus 7 32 GB wifi and a new Nexus 7 16 GB today from Amazon. I paid $17 extra to have them shipped to me on Saturday (July 27). I can't wait a day longer  . The 16 GB is a gift for my brother in law. $269 and $229.

Hi,
I don't have a Nexus 7 yet. Patiently waiting for the last four months. I was deciding between the Nexus 7 and Mini Ipad and finally decided to wait for the New Nexus 7. I can't stand Itunes and Apple's control freak nature.
Hope to be able to get the new Nexus 7 in July.
