Nexus 7 General Discussion / Re: How's your Nexus 7 Experience ???« on: January 21, 2013, 01:12:13 AM »
In use, I prefer the form factor of the iPad mini.
But the mini won't fit in a pocket. This is my second 7" tablet after a ZTE V9 600mHz beastie with a resistive touch screen. The V9 however, had brilliant sound through its built in stereo speakers and Dolby Mobile. In almost everything else, the N7 blows them all away. 49
Nexus 7 General Discussion / Re: Re: Re: Tapatalk HD beta testers get final for $.99« on: January 19, 2013, 01:32:19 PM »I will have to agree with NordieBoy, that Tapatalk HD is worth more than the, "$.99, cup of coffee buy in, but if your choice is Tapatalk 2, you still have that option. In the OP, it was stated that the initial day offering was well worth the $.99 risk, if you consider the potential that the developers show when you look at the non-tablet version. I will have to admit that I appreciate my $.99 purchase price and admit that I would pay a bit more, but I am unsure about the current $4.99 price point. A coffee here can be nearly $5 50

The Trial X family of games are quite good.
The sound is crap and 3 is awful. 1, 2 and 2 Winter are good fun. 53

Just run your fingernail around the join and pop it open. The magnet is near the switch. 54

That's insane, that thing it's so damn pricyBut it is very nice to use. I'd prefer the 4:3 screen ratio unless, as I do, I need to put it in a pocket. I sold my iPad 1 to get the Nexus 7. 55

It's not alloy, much to my disgust.
Oh, and the magnet in the keyboard turns the N7 off unless you dock it with the volume and power buttons facing down. Otherwise I like it.
