S.Prime, you got an email addy or something for G customer support? I look on the wallet page on this pc and I can't find anywhere that they have any customer support buttons or email addresses, and I searched but nothing that looks like you describe.

Hmm, I'm sorry to hear that you had bad experiences on eBay, but that doesn't mean that all eBay is a bummer. I still sell/buy on eBay and, in general, it seems to be a great service. I sell lots of telegraph keys, steam engines, etc. that wouldn't otherwise have an outlet with that degree of exposure.

I ordered my Nexus 7 on June 27 at 1:47pm.
That "should" put me at or near the top of the list for fulfilling orders.
There has been no shipping notice, and my card has still not been charged.
So what does that all mean? Should I go take another nap for a few days until they figure out how to conduct a business? What's with all the drama?
Maybe they just want to raise everyone's level of concern... r

This will be my first tab so I'm just wondering how many of you that already own tablets use a Stylus. It seems like a helpful kind of accessory but I guess a finger will work almost as well. Would this just be some sort of rubber tipped stick that makes pointing a little more accurate? I posted that there is a case that comes with a Stylus but I suppose you can just buy a stylus separately. Just wondering if that's an item I should pick up.

Yeah, the two different local Gamestops that I called both said that their 'first wave' shipment had all been reserved and that now they were taking reservations (today being the last day) for the 'second wave' which should be shipping in August... Glad I pre-ordered!

The case being referred to is the one on the Asus website... Also... A stylus can be used for anything you'd use your finger for, just more accurate and smaller touches... Lots of people use them with drawing apps, that sort I thing...
Ah, very good! I've never used a stylus but maybe I'll check one out, thanks. I looked on the Asus site for NA and couldn't find any reference to an N7 cover but I'll look around some more. My hunch is that it's a different site than you are finding... r

Was wondering what the significance of 7 is, in the naming of our newest object of fascination. I mean why not Nexus 1, for Google's first tab? How 'bout Nexus 3 for the Tegra 3 chip? Nexus 4 with it's quad core? Or a random Nexus 6 or 8 or since it was born this year, what about Nexus 12? What am I missing here about 7?
