Yes, I did try it and found that I had to change from HW decoding to SW or System decoding to play avi videos. Also, it did play my mkv file, but the only mkv file on my tablet was a music video of Shakira, so I watched it 4 times, just to make sure it worked ok...... ;-) You cannot be too careful with video tryout.
I was using MX but then I discovered BS player . The interface is pretty much the same as MX. Slide up and down,for sound and light . Slide across for changing the time or place you are in the movie. BSPLAYER plays the few mkv files I have and everything else I throw at it. I love it and it carries my initials so I am biased. He he
