I think when it is fully charged it is fully charged. lithium ion and polymer battery charging is a subject that for me isn't definitive. There are some folks that say lithium batteries don't develop a memory and some do. I can't tell. Being inpatient, I have used electronics right out of the box and then on the other hand followed the advice of waiting till fully charged. On a polar opposite, Although I never experienced it myself, I have read about some issues if the battery is fully exhausted , so I would be mindful of that. If I remember correctly, I charged my first Nexus till full and used my second right out of the box when I left the store. They both had the best battery life I have ever seen for a device of this caliber.. Hours of video. What??
