Can't get my Nexus 10 into recovery mode (TWRP).

It boots and reboots just fine, but if I try manual recovery mode (power+volume down) it sits saying "Downloading - do not turn off target".

Will try again tomorrow via ADB sideload.

I can't get into TWRP so gonna try installing it via ADB, as GooManager can't do it as SUPERSU isn't available.

Unless there's another way.

Just did my Nexus 10 using WugFresh toolkit.

Manually downloaded TWRP (v2.6.0.0) & SuperSU v1.43 zip.

Changed Recovery Image to v2.6.0.0.

Installed TWRP via toolkit (ROOT button) then flashed SuperSU zip when TWRP started up.

All rooted again  8)

Hmm, I see the OTA waiting but how 'complicated' is it to re-root CBers?  I'm holding off on the update 'til I know the procedure to get back to my unlocked, rooted device... 'course I'll have my new Gen 2, 32GB by Friday so I'll prolly want to just put this one back to stock.

@radiocycle - it's very easy.

As I said above, I used Wug's toolkit to do it.

I just downloaded the latest TWRP and SuperSU.

Then started the toolkit and pointed it at the downloaded TWRP, then hit the ROOT button.

It copies and installs TWRP.

Once done, it boots into TWRP, where I flashed SuperSU.

I have had issues installing latest SuperSU from GP.

I've had to reflash via TWRP each time.

I copied the SuperSU zip to the tablet before re-rooting.

What's the difference between JWR66V and JWR66Y? I received the first update on my 16gb and the other just 2 days ago on my 32gb model. Both updated to JWR66V back in the beginning of the month.

It's simply security bugfixes... All Nexus devices have or will receive this update including the Nexus 4, Nexus 10, Gnex and both versions of the Nexus 7.
