First, let me say I am not an iPad fan (yet) and I own a Nexus 7.

Your lists are very subjective. It really depends on what you want to do with your device, where and how. The iPad does have GPS. You can do web browsing on the Nexus 7. I don't know why some of the items ended up on one list but not the other.

But thanks.

You forgot the most glaring Apple advantage, Cyprusx....................overconfident, overly smug, sometimes condescending fanboys!  ;)

I think comparing the N7 to the iPad is like comparing apples (pardon the pun) and oranges.  They're two different beasts and serve different purposes in many ways.  I have an iPad2 and a iPhone4 and am very linked-in to iTunes with and other Apple services.  If Apple comes out with an iPad Mini like I'm hearing, it will be very tempting to sell my N7 and get a Mini -- if the price is right.  Although one of the things I really like about the N7 is that it's on a different OS than what I'm used to and that's kind of fun.  For me, the huge advantage of the N7 is its size and that it's linked-in to Google, which I'm a huge fan.

I'm kinda in the same boat, in that I'm a HUGE Apple fan.  I never bought an iPad, because I can pretty much do the same thing with my iPhone 4, and I could never justify the $500+ price tag. Did I want one ? Sure, but I refused to spend that much. THEN, around Christmas, I saw the Kindle Fire, I messed around with it, and because I liked and, and because of the price point, I could justify $200 for a tablet. Then I saw the Nexus 7, and realized, this is a different league completely, at the same price point. I've since sold my Amazon Fire, which felt like an Apple product, due to the fact it was a pretty closed platform (especially app and gamewise on Amazon market). The Nexus 7, even though there isn't the sheer amount of apps to chose from like on Apple products, at least feels more like an open platform (even without rooting), and I find it's one of the things I like (I like EVERYTHING about my Nexus 7).

So even if Apple comes out with a mini, regardless of price, they'll be hard pressed to come out with a better product than the Nexus 7, at the same price point.

As far as the list by the OP, I'm not sure I agree with everything, including the final totals.

Regarding the Nexus 7 16GB compared to an iPad (I have both)

More portable -- True but you have to admit the iPad isn't a whole lot less portable than the N7.
Easier one handed use -- True
Ergonomic -- Other than one handed use, I think the iPad has a better display for typing and more room on the edges to hold on to the device.
Much lighter -- True but the iPad is also very light considering what you're getting.
NFC -- Not sure what that is.
Proximity Sensor -- Not sure what that is.  I'd be surprised the iPad did not have it as well.
GPS -- True.
Better voice assistant (faster, better Voice, accurate) -- True.
Better search bar -- I disagree.
dedicated digital buttons - Not so.
True multitasking -- I haven't had a problem with that on my iPad.
advanced notification system -- Not so.
Open system -- True!
More free apps -- I have a hard time believing that.
Faster charging -- I think they're about the same.  Maybe the iPad takes a little longer but I get a longer batter life from the iPad.
More sharing options -- Not sure what that is.
Better google integration -- True, although I have all the Google products I need on my iPad.
16:10 format -- Not sure what that means.
Launchers -- Not sure what that means.
Lock screens -- iPad can do this.
Live wallpapers -- True, but I don't like live wallpaper anyway.
Widgets -- I guess it depends on your definition of "Widgets".
Music/Video players -- True.
Messaging/keyboard apps -- True.
More Durable -- Not at all.  The iPad is very durable/sturdy.
microusb support -- True.
Slightly Better performance, it does benchmark higher than the ipad when doing heavy usage task, due to quad core gpu -- I guess.  For me this is not an issue at all.
better for gaming (desirable form factor, weight) -- True.
better for reading ebooks (desirable form factor, weight) -- True.
faster booting -- They're about the same.
Better battery life -- Not so.  The iPad whoops the N7 in batter life.
Easier scaling from Phone apps -- True but the iPad has a larger display.

Regarding the iPad 16GB compared to the N7

Natural Whites -- I think both devices have awesome natural whites but the iPad3's display is much, much better.
Viewing angles -- I think they're about the same.
Bigger screen - Better Viewing -- Agree.
-Documents -- Not sure what you mean here.
-Photos - I think both are good in this area as well.
-Web browsing -- Yes!  I'm still struggling with web surfing on a 7" tablet.
-Videos -- They both do well with videos
Thinner -- Yes, but the iPad isn't that much thicker.
Higher PPi -- Yes.
Rear facing camera -- Yes.
Much better Front facing camera -- Yes.
Better gestures -- Most definitely yes.
Apple integration -- A given.
More accessories -- Yes, but eventually the N7 will get more.
less ad-ware on AppStore -- I guess.  I've not seen any on my N7.
4x AppStore Devs -- Not sure what this is.
Better optimized tablet apps -- Totally.  But the N7 will get there.
Premium Feel -- Yes, but the N7 isn't very far behind in my opinion.  I'm very impressed with the N7's feel.
Better Audio? -- They're both the same -- crappy.
