Guys, you can get a screenshot from the Nexus 7 at any time just by pressing the volume down and power buttons at the same time until you hear the confirmation tone.  That's it!  No rooting necessary.  See this: http://nexus7forum.com/index.php?topic=254.0

The volume slider bar is an artifact from pushing the volume down button before the power button during the screen capture.
