I agree with most are saying about the getting a 2nd N7 especially if since the they're not really not that expensive. I'd hate to share mine with my wife and vice versa. Gotta be able hide my naughty stuff

But wouldnt Redtube help out with the ....... sex part IMHO  I guess as long as its not being overly used and the rest of the family being neglected or not fed then its all good

I've always been an avid skiier for more than 20 years thus skiing most slopes her on the East Coast and have been out West several times as well. I've just started introducing skiing to my wife and 2 young boys and they've enjoyed it immensely A new hobby of mine that has been of very intriguing interest to both the Mrs and I has been photography. We purchased a fairly expensive camera to capture the special moments that we knew our young boys would provide but she and I have also surprisingly have found that photography has given us a new interest that we were not expecting

You have various options, as your asking I'm assuming you don't use a pattern, PIN or Password lock on your N7 or you do but your asking in case you let people view your N7 and want to hidden specifically those pictures.
So other than those security features you could create a .nomedia in the album, what this does is simply stop the pictures showing up in your Gallery application. Now this can still be bypassed by a file explorer in which you could view the pictures.
Alternatively you could disable the stock Gallery app and install a 3rd party Gallery app like Quickpic in which you can either hide folders or password protect hidden folders, that way none of your folders containing the pictures in question would show in the Gallery unless you opened the settings and chose to "show hidden folders".
Finally you could install an app like Hide it Pro from the Google Play store.

Jay I do have a lock on my N7 but I've quickly realized that anyone borrowing or checking my new N7 ( it being new a lot of my buddies do want to browse it or compare to their own IPad ) can easily go into the Gallery where I more than once was actually embarrassed with a " oppppsss you shouldn't had seen that " picture right there in the screen I appreciate your detailed response and assistance and will look into Quickpic or Hide It Pro PS send me your email by the way juuuust teasing !

Hey im very new with the Nexus and was wondering what and if there is any app or tight security regarding having pictures on the Nexus ?? I enjoy photography and my wife has been my primary model and I do enjoy viewing them from time to time though I want and need these hidden for the obvious reasons

My google experience
I pre ordered the google nexus 7 on the day the went on sale. One week after they started shipping i sent google a email asking them when mine would ship. I was told within a week. Two weeks later i call them to see what is up. As at this point my account was charged for the device. They tell me shipping any day. Two days later i see on my wallet account as google nexus 16 gb ORDER CANCELED BY SELLER.
So i call google back and ask what is up. they said it was a computer issue. And that i would have to reorder. At this time they where backorderd for up to 4-6 weeks on the 8 gb . OUT OF STOCK ON 16. So i ordered the 8 gb version. After a week i received it. Two weeks later i start seeing lines on the screen when you hold it on the left side of the screen as well as the screen moving.
I CALL GOOGLE BACK . they tell me that I can send it back and DO A advance replacmeent exchange. I tell them im not having my money put on hold. I will send it back in a few weeks and just reorder another device when they receive it.
So i decided to just order the device and send this back into them when i receive the new device. .
Its now the end of Aug the new device comes in the mail . It comes in with a CRACKED SCREEN . SO not 30 minutes after usp drops the device off i call GOOGLE YET AGAIN. TO GET A RMA for the brand new replacement device. I GET THAT JUST FINE.Send google this device that i only had for 30 minutes in my posession. still at this time holding on the original device as its still working . you just cant push on the left side of screen. GOOGLE Recieved the device on the 5th of september. Since then i have had several phone calls and exchange of emails. Being told that the device i sent them back was the original device and they WOULD NOT ISSUE A REFUND OR REPLACE THE DEVICE. STATING THAT i would have to prove what device i sent in. They have it so i have no way of doing so . Other then they can see what device is being used and connected to my google wallet. They understand and can see this so im told. But still refuse to help me in any way. So now today on 9/27 I contact them for the last time and demand i get a RMA to send the original device back to them as proof that it was not the one they keep saying they have. SO NOW GOOGLE HAS ALL OF MY MONEY BOTH OF MY DEVICES . AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT ME AS A CUSTOMER
Unbelievable !! In this day and age where competition is fierce in this market a large company would treat any customer this way. I would ask to speak to their supervisor and once you get hold of him/ her ask for his/her manager . You're wasting your time with 1st level so called customer support. Good luck !!

I'll give that a go. But it isn't just a lag in responsiveness, it's completely unresponsive.
This has happens to me as well. Whether its typing or play in one of the games no matter how hard I press the screen .... nothing. I didn't realize or was cognizant as to when it started occurring ? After reading this thread I'm thinking back now and yes it may had indeed starting happening after prolonged use.

Just whenever I'm lounging at home or at a cafe I can be on tapatalk on the various ( including this one :-) ) forums I'm in or simply browse the Net while listening to Pandora Radio
