Norcal, you can definitely delete files with Go Launcher Ex. I bet it was when you had that app that you were able to delete easily as it changes the UI on the N7.
Bird, it is kind of scary what can be left behind on any tablet/phone/computer. I know Astro app (and other similar aps) will delete a file, but I do wonder with unrooted tabs.

Oops, sorry, misread question. Go to settings, storage, press on category and delete file there. I use Astro app to manage and delete files on my N 7. Hope that helps!

To delete the app "short cut", long press on icon and drag to "remove" on top of screen.
To remove entire app, go to settings, apps, press on app name and then uninstall.

I think with mp3, it tries to assign a cover to it and leaves it blank if it doesn't recognize it. Then you have to pull up the library on your computer, right click on cover art and edit. Then you can resync it to your tablet.
An easier way is to use the Album Art Grabber app that gives you several options.

Upper right corner..
Sorry, to clarify, after you pair the devices, you have to activate them by pressing on the name.

Hey RC, the bluetooth icon just shows up as a gray symbol in the upper left corner when on. No symbol when turned off.
Did you press on the other device (or the N7) under available devices?

Tooo funny! Glad you got rid of them, they can be annoying.

Erik, by 'this" do you mean the adapter you have now? I think the adapter you ordered is all you'll need, provided it is micro male to standard female and USB-OTG.

Hey RDJW, you should be able to long press on what you want to get rid of and drag it to the remove at the top of the screen to delete.

That is strange. I wonder why it won't install? Honestly, I do think it worked better on ICS than it does on JB. Seems slower.

If you are talking about app/music/books that come pre-loaded, just long press on one and drag to the top to remove.

Maybe plug your USB/charger plug into your computer and hard reset for 60 seconds, that worked for a friend that had a bricked tablet. Fingers crossed!!

The HDMI would be nice to watch movies and videos on big-screen TV, but that won't happen.
I don't mean to sound negative, but if this dock was $19.95 I wouldn't buy it, it looks nice but no speakers or audio plug to amp/stereo? It has the same micro USB and 3.5 audio out the N7 already has. I knew there wouldn't be full USB or SDcard output due to the "cloud".
Basically this is a $50 piece of plastic to hold the N7 upright. So I guess I'll wait.
