the background is an awesome live wall paper. Also using Nova launcher.  Only thing I would like to change is swap the green wifi widget for blue.

I used to have it cluttered. Loads of apps and all the widgets I could get.
It's been tidied up.

Sorry if I sound draft but can this be done on stock with a nova type app or does it require rooting

From what I can see no rooting is required to create a homescreen like that, launchers like Nova and Apex give lots of customization options and the rest are just widgets available from Google Play store.

Nope, I didn't root for that. It's the nova launcher. I suggest checking out a new launcher, next best thing to rooting.

However I'm finding with this live background, my N7 isn't quite as smooth.
