I am personally someone who likes to simply enjoy the device i have. There is always something better around the corner. For example, im sure the Kindle Fire 2 will have SOMETHING that it does better than the Nexus but who cares really?I would think this tablet should last the average person around 4 years. So 4 years from now ill be looking for this- Android 8.0 (Blazing twinkie covered in ice cream topped with cherry)- An Octo core processor- Super HD 2040p screen- NFC 2 - A photon torpedo launcher- Equipped with a viagara dispenser
MicroSD card to expand memory
Nothing! After getting a new tablet twice a year, I finally have 1 that's good enough to keep for a couple of years.
Smaller, lighter, cheaper?Nexus 7 is a nice tablet but I hope tablets five years from now will have edge to edge screens, weigh less and cost less than today.

Lighter?! Smaller?! Seriously? One of the markets that they were going for was ebook readers, if they made it any smaller then it would make it harder to read (for a lot of people). There's also a reason why they didn't design the N7's screen to go edge to edge, again it was to cater to ebook readers, when the screen goes to the edges, the thumb/fingers get in the way while holding the tablet, covering the words towards the sides. Needless to say, they were totally going after the Kindle market
